This ceremony took place in the town’s Glen Pavilion during June and saw those who put so much of their time and energy into local charity work honoured for their community contributions.
Organisers of events like this one in the Dunfermline area can make use of Print shops offering full colour printing if they want to produce attractive promotional Posters.
The evening was a sell out, with over 200 people attending and participating in activities like a bingo game for charity, which was organised by Carlton Bingo, one of the event sponsors.
This contributed to the raising of more than £1,100 on the day, which has been divided between those organisations that received Charity Champion of the Year nominations at the awards.
These are: The Cookie Jar Foundation - which took the prize - the Benarty Fundraisers and Leukaemia Care. Afterwards, the founder of The Cookie Jar Foundation, Debbie Coutts, told the Dunfermline Press that:
“We were overwhelmed to win. We have only been going 18 months and the person who nominated us was someone who had actually used the equipment we had provided.”
Coutts went on to thank the Dunfermline Press for organising the awards night and state that the £398.29 they had received via the charity bingo would be put back into the organisation.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
