The show 'Women in Rock' is currently on tour and is due to give a performance in Ayr at the beginning of October.
This theatrical experience has been entertaining audiences since 2016, taking them on a journey across a half century of female artists. It features six powerful female vocalists, innovative choreography, and original costumes, all supported by a group of professional musicians. This show pays tribute to many of the most successful female singers who subsequently went on to become legends in the history of the music industry. These include names such as Cher, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Debbie Harry, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar.
