These plans have been drawn up by the local council. The park would be a space for the community and would be used for the hosting of events, with the chosen location for it being the site that was formerly home to Woolworths.
The council has recruited ARPL Architects to come up with the design brief for this zone, while HubSW – a public private partnership – will be in charge of moving it forward. Work on the construction of it will be carried out in phases so that inconvenience for businesses in the area can be kept to a minimum.
Once the museum has been completed, it will be used to show off many of the exhibits that are currently on display in the museum in South Ayrshire. Museum gift shops often stock items like promotional Pens.
According to the Daily Record, Councillor Brian McGinley stated:
“This is an important strategy for the whole of South Ayrshire and the County Town. Towns across the country are changing. Retail in its current form is no longer the panacea for local town centres.”
The museum is expected to open next year, and the park in 2021.Get a Free Quote for Pens Get a Free Quote for Plans
