Outdoor festivals come in out of the cold in Ayr

Music lovers in Ayr are in for a treat next month as the outdoor festival experience is brought indoors to Ayr Town Hall.

Clubbers and festival lovers will come together under one roof on 16th April as the famous Eden club night comes to Ayr. Club night organisers hope to recreate a traditional outdoor festival atmosphere inside the hall, complete with DJs, live bands, dancers and cabaret. The festival-style club night is being promoted in Ayr using flyer and poster printing.

Ayr music fans are also set to enjoy one of the most popular ska bands in Scotland as Bombskare will take to the stage during the event. Those fans who are more dance-inclined will find what they're looking for in the form of London-based DJs Swank and Jams, who will be playing Balkan and Afro beats. The festival promises to be a visual delight as well as an aural one, with dancers, hula-hoopers and burlesque acts all performing.

The indoor Eden festival is being planned by the organisers of the Wickerman festival. Sid Ambrose spoke about the club night on behalf of the organisers, saying:

“I am hoping that the Eden club night will be the first of many events. I am most looking forward to the people of Ayrshire getting a taste of the colourful carnival atmosphere that is synonymous with the Eden brand.”

Tickets for the club night at Ayr Town Hall can be bought from Ticketweb’s website; prices start at £6.
