The British variety store chain Home Bargains is set to open a brand new branch at a site in Ayr, and now the date for its grand launch has been made public.
Home Bargains will be moving into a unit at Parkhouse Street that is currently vacant. Up until recently, it was home to the discount retailer Matalan. There is little doubt that the council will be glad to get the unit back into use again. Home Bargains has now applied to the local authority for the planning permission necessary to put up a sign.
It has also revealed that this Ayr branch will feature an on-site cafe. There are a total of 19 Home Bargains stores throughout the UK that have cafes, but just one in the whole of Scotland. Now, this store in Ayr will be the second.
The town already has one branch of the store, which is situated within Heathfield Retail Park. This new one is set to offer Ayr shoppers something different though, as in addition to the cafe, it will provide options for online shopping and home delivery.
When the store is ready to open its doors, it may find banner printing by shops in Ayr to be a useful resource. Banners can be an effective way for new stores to advertise themselves.
