New festival in Ayr reveals line-up

The organiser of a brand new music festival that will be taking place in Ayr later in the year has now confirmed the line-up of artists that are set to perform at the event.

Ewan McVicar is a successful DJ who hails from Ayr and he is planning to come back during the spring to launch this new event, which has been named the Pavilion Festival. He has managed to land some of the top stars from the dance music scene in the UK to perform at it alongside him, including Skream, the producer based in London, Seren Seo from Edinburgh and Hayley Zalassi and Optimo from Glasgow.

The other major artists that McVicar has managed to tempt to Ayr for the festival are Nightwave, Posthuman and Kettama, making for an impressive line-up. The venue will be Low Green, overlooked by Ayr Pavilion – hence the name.

McVicar has become a national chart success thanks to hits like ‘Tell Me Something Good’ and he first announced this festival last year, with the tickets for it going on to sell out inside minutes.

The single day Pavilion Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday 29th April.
