A top Scottish rock band of the 1990s that have supported the Rolling Stones on two world tours have announced that they will be coming to Ayr this summer for a concert.
Gun has enjoyed a long and successful career in the music business, including three albums that made the top 20 and eight singles that reached the top 40. Perhaps their most famous record is a cover version of ‘Word Up’, the Cameo song, which was a hit for them in most European countries during the mid-1990s.
That chart profile earned them prestige support slots on two Rolling Stones tours – for Urban Jungle and Steel Wheels – as well as an MTV EMA award. Now they are heading to Ayr for what is sure to be an eagerly anticipated show.
Flyer printing from shops in Ayr can be a useful supplement to Posters and online advertising when it comes to promoting upcoming concerts like this one.
Gun is currently recording their new album, which is due for release later in the year, and fans can expect to hear songs from it as well as old favourites. The location for the Ayr gig is set to be Venue 38, a hot new live music spot which is based at a site that used to be home to Madison’s Nightclub.
This gig will be taking place on 6th August.
