Fundraiser for Ayr museum attracts swing band

One of the top swing bands in Scotland will be playing at a special event in Ayr this summer, which has been organised to raise money for a local museum.

That Swing Sensation performs top big band swing tunes and has become a familiar presence on both television and radio shows in the past few years. The band will bring its swinging sounds to Ayr for a show at the town’s Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, for an event which has been organised by a local community group committed to supporting this attraction.

The Friends of the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum puts together events to help keep the museum afloat and this latest one will also feature a bar with alcohol and soft drinks, as well as a raffle to bring in more cash.

It is important for fundraising events to attract as many people as possible and promoting them with the help of Ayr poster printing outlets is one way that the organisers of ones in the town can help ensure that.

Anyone attending this particular event will be able to enjoy dancing to the classic songs played by That Swing Sensation, before cooling off with a drink and a snack at the bar.

The fundraiser for the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum will be held within that venue on June 11 between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm.
