Beauty contest win for girl from Ayr

A youngster from Ayr is celebrating following her triumph at the recent Petite Miss Scotland beauty pageant, where her performance of the song ‘One Moment in Time’ proved the difference.

Lucy Chambers is five years old and astonished the judging panel with her singing ability at the contest. This secured her the prize for best overall talent, but that was only the beginning of the joy for the pupil from Kincaidston Primary School.

Her lively, enthusiastic personality delighted the judges to such a degree that they went on to award her the main prize as well, and her mum Paula told the Daily Record that she was thrilled to see her daughter come out on top in the nationwide competition:

“I’m just so happy with my wee baby bringing home the title. When they gave her the certificate for best overall talent I wondered if that was all she was going to get.”

She went on to add that Lucy’s classmates had supported her throughout the competition, so the win was for all of them. Lucy will now go on to compete for the Miss United World title and stated that she hoped to use her profile to support anti-racism and bullying charities.

Competitions of this sort often make use of places offering flyer printing, to help when it comes to advertising.
