Rangers fans from across the country will be keen to travel to Ayr later in the year, with the news that three legendary former players will be in town for one night only.
Graham Roberts, Mark Hateley and Mark Walters all enjoyed impressive and trophy-winning stints with the Ibrox club. Now they are set to join forces for ‘An Evening with Rangers Legends’, which will see them talk about their favourite moments from their time playing football for one half of the famous Old Firm.
Roberts was one of the first players to be signed by Graeme Souness after he was appointed Rangers manager in 1986. He helped the club win the title in his first season. Walters arrived a year later and stayed with the club for five years, during which he won three league titles.
Hateley was signed in 1990 and won five titles in his half-decade with the club. He and the other former stars will talk about some of the most memorable matches they played in, as well as sharing dressing room tales and answering questions from the fans.
