The plans that were put forward by Mota Singh for launching a new eatery in Alloway Street secured the approval of South Ayrshire Council recently, at a leadership panel meeting.
Mr. Singh has lengthy experience in this sector, having spent nearly half a century as a restaurateur, while the site he plans to use for his new venture was previously a restaurant.
When it opens its doors, this new restaurant will be available to residents seven days a week and will cater for youngsters, as long as adults are accompanying them.
Speaking to a reporter from the Ayr Advertiser, local councillor Alan Dorans stated that the council felt that Mr. Singh had all of the necessary experience and expertise in managing restaurants needed to make this venture a success. He added:
“Many pubs have been derelict for a long, long time. It is a well established license for a restaurant. I think it is a good investment and will bring the building back into use."
New restaurants opening in Ayr can always rely on the help of places that offer marketing services, if they need to put the word out.
