Ayr is to host a Scottish footballing great
My Life in Football - An Evening with Gordon Strachan is currently on tour and due to arrive in Ayr at the beginning of February.
Gordon Strachan OBE, born in Edinburgh in 1957, hails from a working class family. He had a successful career in football both as a player and a manager that encompassed five decades, earning him a considerable reputation within the world game.
His playing CV includes many of the greatest clubs at the highest level, such as Aberdeen, Leeds United and Manchester United. He won English and Scottish domestic League honours, achieved success in Europe and was capped 50 times for Scotland.
On retirement, Strachan opted to go into management, taking Southampton to the FA Cup Final, and picking up trophies during his four year spell at Celtic. He then took on the job of Scotland's international manager, which proved to be his final post.
During the evening, this legend of Scottish football will be revisiting his career and discussing the highlights with Gerry McDade.
Tickets cost £32.50, with a VIP supplement at £37.50. Flyer printing can be a valuable resource for those engaged in the promotion of a stage event like this one.
My Life in Football - An Evening with Gordon Strachan has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Tuesday, 10 February at The Gaiety Theatre in Ayr.
