Tunbridge Wells welcomes musical tribute

An acclaimed venue in Tunbridge Wells is set to celebrate a world-famous musical duo from America with a critically acclaimed tribute act.

Those who love the music of US songsmiths Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel in Tunbridge Wells will soon be able to enjoy a celebrated tribute show. For one night only, the Assembly Hall Theatre will be welcoming “Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years” to its stage.

Theatres, concert halls and other live performance event venues often look to dedicated poster printing services to produce engaging advertisements for the acts and artists they present.

Applauded extensively by international critics, the show has toured globally rewarded with sold-out performances and standing ovations from entranced audiences. The show is fronted by Pete Richards and Dan Haynes, who are known collectively as Bookends.

BBC Radio referred to the tribute as a masterpiece, commenting how Richards and Haynes faithfully recreate the unforgettable sound of Simon & Garfunkel. ITV broadcaster Stuart Cameron described their performance as “One of the greatest tribute shows anywhere in the world.”

Playing folk rock from 1956 and into the 80s, Simon & Garfunkel were a Grammy award-winning act.

“Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years” will take centre stage at the Assembly Hall Theatre on Saturday, July 1. The venue is situated on Crescent Road in Tunbridge Wells. The show will run from 7.30pm until 9.40pm.
