A train station in Tunbridge Wells will present a spellbinding seasonal experience based on a beloved book that became a ground-breaking animation.
Back by popular demand, the “Polar Express Train Ride” will return to Tunbridge Wells for 2026. Launching in autumn, there will be multiple daily departures on select dates throughout the festive season. Inspired by Chris Van Allsburg timeless Christmas story, the experience brings the Polar Express film from 2004 to life for families onboard an authentic steam train.
Companies running seasonal activities often count on dedicated printing services for a variety of promotional materials like leaflets, Brochures and Posters.
Families stepping onto the platform in their pyjamas will be met with the soaring soundtrack of the film as snow falls and steam billows from the approaching train. Once onboard they will be treated to an hour of entertainment.
Chefs will serve hot chocolate and treats while telling stories, singing and dancing. The conductor will be punching golden tickets, and Santa Claus will step through the carriages with a special gift for everyone who believes in the spirit of Christmas.
The Polar Express Train Ride will run from Spa Valley Railway from Saturday, November 7 to Wednesday, December 30. The main station and headquarters of the railway are located at Tunbridge Wells West Station just off Neville Terrace, and tickets are available priced from £38.
