A first of its kind lightshow for Tunbridge Wells is taking place in town this autumn accompanied by a range of entertainment and activities.
Families in Tunbridge Wells can attend an event called the “Space Safari Drone Light Show”. The event will see Kent’s skyline illuminated by hundreds of drones while an immersive soundtrack tells an inspirational story of courage and adventure.

Featuring innovative technology, the upcoming extravaganza will mark the first time Tunbridge Wells has welcomed a drone light show to entertain its residents. The drones are synchronised to perform unique animations in the night sky to a symphonic soundscape. Delivering cinematic storytelling, the show is narrated by TV personality and Bafta Award winner, Michaela Strachan.
Leading up to the drone show finale, there will also be fairground rides, prizes to win in dog-friendly contests, street food, live tribute artists, face painting and more.
The Space Safari Drone Light Show will now happen in Dunorlan Park on Saturday, September 26. The show has an expected start time of around 7.30 pm and the main entrance to the greenspace is based on Pembury Road in Tunbridge Wells. Children under the age of three enjoy free admission to the event.
