A multi-talented British American artist known for her abrasive and outrageous comedy is coming to a theatre in Tunbridge Wells this summer.
The inimitable Ruby Wax is bringing her brand-new show to the town. Titled “Absolutely Famous”, it features the colourful comedian, actress and writer accompanied by her close friend and producer Clive Tulloh, as they explore highlights of her much-loved TV programme “Ruby Wax Meets”.
Theatres, cinemas and many other entertainment venues often depend heavily on banner printing services for branded signage for use on premises that showcases their registered trademarks.
The format of the new show will feature clips from the hit programme that ran from 1996 to 1998 and famously saw Wax grill A-listers like Madonna, Pamela Anderson, OJ Simpson and Donald Trump. Live on stage, she will review footage while sharing scandalous tales previously unrevealed with the audience.
Wax has resided in the UK since the ‘70s, but holds dual British and American citizenship. Along with her successful career in comedy, she is a tireless campaigner for mental health charities.
Ruby Wax - Absolutely Famous will now be live on stage at the Assembly Hall Theatre on Thursday, June 19. The venue is situated on Crescent Road in Tunbridge Wells, and the show starts at 7.30 pm. General admission is available at £34.25 per person with a discounted rate for theatre members at £30.83.
