An event remembering one of the most famous studio albums in the thrash metal genre is coming to a Tunbridge Wells venue.
Head bangers and slam dancers in Tunbridge Wells can join an evening dedicated to thrash band Metallica in spring. The event is called “A celebration of Metallica - 40th Anniversary of Master of Puppets” and features an act regarded as the number one tribute to the band based in Britain.
Master of Puppets was Metallica’s third studio album. Recorded in Denmark’s Copenhagen, it was released through Elektra Records in 1986. It is often classed among the best heavy metal albums of all time and has a cover designed by US artist, Don Brautigam featuring spectral hands toying with gravestones.
Bands and their managers often connect with creative Graphic Design Services that can layout artwork, insignia and typography on new releases.
Honouring four decades of the revered recording, Bristol’s Metallica Reloaded will be on stage to perform its track list. Audience members will get to hear a host of numbers on the night like “Battery”, “The Thing That Should Not Be”, “Disposable Heroes” and the titular “Master of Puppets”.
The Metallica celebration will now be held at The Forum on Saturday, April 11. The independent event venue is situated at The Common, in Fonthill, Tunbridge Wells and the gig kicks off at 7.30 pm.
