LEGO fans of all ages in Kent will cheer to hear that the “Tunbridge Wells Brick Festival” is returning to town this summer. The 2026 edition of the in-person event promises a six-hour extravaganza dedicated to the hugely popular plastic construction toys that made their debut in 1949.

The brand name "LEGO" is derived from a Danish phrase “leg godt”, which means “play well” and the event aims to live up to the legend with a wide range of activities on offer. Festivalgoers can compete in speed contests or take their time to construct in the dedicated building area. Ideal for little LEGO heads and adult collectors alike, the event boasts large-scale displays and specialist traders selling old and new sets, rare minifigures and loose bricks to boost collector building power.
The 2026 Brick Festival will now be at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre on Saturday, August 8. The event will get underway at 10 am and runs until 4 pm with the venue sited at 210 Saint John's Road in Tunbridge Wells. Entry is available with prices starting at £6.27.
