Tunbridge Wells to present fun-filled festival
An event packed with eats and entertainment will be held in Tunbridge Wells over the summer for the first time ever.
The Sausage and Cider Festival will soon make its welcome debut in Tunbridge Wells. The 2024 edition of the popular outdoor event will be making a stop at the town’s Dunorlan Park in June, and invites people of all ages to attend.
Those attending the festivities will find over 30 different ciders to choose from, and more than 20 flavours of sausages to try. There will also be a wide range of craft beers, spirits, sparkling wines and cocktails on offer, as well as soft drinks for little ones.
Food and beverage vendors with stalls at outdoor events like fairs and festivals often rely on professional printshops for special signage that captures the attention of passersby.
The festival’s itinerary includes on-stage opportunities for audience participation in chilli and sausage eating contests. Tribute artists dedicated to ABBA, Queen, The Killers, Elton John and Madness will perform, and attendees will have chance to take centre stage and sing along with “Barrioke”, hosted by Barry from EastEnders.
A special children’s stage will also present family-friendly entertainment, and a festival market and silent disco are planned for the day.
The Sausage and Cider Festival will be held on Saturday, June 15 at Dunorlan Park on Pembury Road in Tunbridge Wells.
