Tunbridge Wells to host food and drink event
A special tasting event dedicated to the food and wine of Italy is set to take place in Tunbridge Wells this summer.
The Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells will be holding an event entitled “Italian Food and Wine Tasting” this coming June. From restaurants and bars to hotels and culinary schools, organisers of tasting events often enlist brochure printing services to set attractive booklets that include enticing images of food and drink included to encourage participation.
Well known for its robust regional identity when the subject turns to food and wine, Italy was picked by the venue as the ideal country to focus on for pairing experience.
Over two hours, attendees will enjoy a selection of taster platters perfectly matched with a different wine from each of Italy’s world-famous grape-growing regions. Each pairing has been expertly designed to bring out the best of both food and wine.
The tasting will be tutored and feature six wine samples, tasting platters, hand-outs, and full wine notes. There will also be a two-hour interactive presentation led by the wine tutor as well as a question-and-answer session.
Platters will include regional salamis, cheeses and hams, marinated olives, as well as dessert.
