Tunbridge Wells to host distinctive comedy club
A Bring Your Own Baby (BYOB) comedy club is poised to make an impact in Tunbridge Wells.
Traditionally, comedy clubs may encourage the audience to bring a wine bottle to a performance. However, the BYOB concept means that the parents of Tunbridge Wells could be taking a bottle of infant formula to a show instead. Flyer printing can be used for promotional purposes in a wide range of economic sectors. Two comics and friends, Alyssa Kirya and Cary Smallman, came up with the BOYB idea. The duo stated:
Kirya was concerned with what others would think of her. She was really anxious about the potential reaction of strangers to ordinary activities such as breastfeeding.
It is quite common for new mothers to experience depression and some people can feel isolated as well. A comedy night can be a suitable social occasion which enables individuals to look at things from a different angle. One of the bonuses associated with the innovative venture is that free childcare will be made available.
Both the dates and the venue have been selected. Inside Tunbridge Wells’ Mercure Hotel in October and December, parents will get the chance to have a break.
