Russian ballet comes to Tunbridge Wells
Tunbridge Wells is set to get a touch of world-class culture this year as the Russian State Ballet and Opera House get ready for a show-stopping performance of Swan Lake in the town.
Swan Lake, one of the most famous ballets in the history of the art, will be showcased in Tunbridge Wells for one night only this winter. The show itself is enough to draw in crowds, but this performance promises to be extra-special thanks to the fact that it is performed by the Russian State Ballet and Opera House – one of the most prestigious dance companies in the world.
The one-off show will take place on 10th November 2012 at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells. The production is being put on by Amande Concerts. The show’s producer, Alexej Ignatow, recently spoke about the production, saying:
The show is being promoted using traditional methods such as poster printing and Tunbridge Wells residents are sure to snap up the seats before long. Tickets for the show are available from the Assembly Hall Theatre.
