What's Happening in Tunbridge Wells, England…

Renowned Kent venue to reopen in 2021

A well-known music venue in Tunbridge Wells plans to open its doors once more in 2021.

The Forum, a popular night spot off London Road in Tunbridge Wells, recently announced through social media that it will be rescheduling its shows for next year, but added details of a campaign to support the venue until that time.

As part of a wider campaign to raise funds to maintain the venue, The Forum is releasing a bespoke line in winter clothing from its dedicated merchandise store. Businesses can sometime use professional flyer printing services to create colourful leaflets that promote the product they are selling to the public.

The Forum commented that most of the garments produced will have limited availability but, as they have already been manufactured, could be dispatched to customers straight away.

A spokesperson for the venue said:

"Our Forum community has been vital to the continuation of our cherished venue and we want to thank you for all your support so far.”

The Forum has also applied to arts council for financial assistance and created its own crowdfunder to help raise revenues. The endeavour has received support from several musicians, including Isaac Holman, front man for punk rock duo Slaves, who is local to the area. At present, the venue is close to making its target of £20,000.
