What's Happening in Tunbridge Wells, England…

Ice skating brings excitement to Tunbridge Wells

This winter, ice skating will bring some drama to Tunbridge Wells.

The ice skating is taking place at Calverley Grounds in Tunbridge Wells. This should boost visitor numbers in the region. Poster printing can be useful in advertising new amenities to the community.

Local ice skating is going to continue until next year. Advance ticket sales were healthy. The Polar Bar is aiming to maximise the economic benefit of the skating. This establishment has been backing a few different events to make the most of the situation.

Libby Paterson is the proprietor at LW Events and her organisation is managing the bar. Paterson told Kent Live:

“We want to involve different types of audiences within the ice rink community, very much geared to different people trying to experience what it’s got to offer.”

Live music is being put on at The Forum. These Thursday night gigs are being coordinated with those behind the rink operation. Meanwhile, local choirs are doing their thing on Sundays.

Major skating sessions are being held between 11am and 8pm. However, these times are adjusted for specific days. The cost of skating includes the hire of skates, while children benefit from a reduction. There are special sessions set aside for toddlers and parents. The cost of these dedicated daytime slots has been calculated with affordability in mind.
