Future stars sought for pantomime
The stage stars of the future are being sought by local producers to star in the annual Tunbridge Wells pantomime at the Trinity Theatre.
Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells is due to play host to a production of Peter Pan this pantomime season, and the producers of the show are searching for children to make up the cast of the lost boys – and girls. The producers are seeking two sets of boys and girls who are aged eight and over to support the main cast of professional actors as part of the show. In order to recruit for the teams, open auditions will be held at Trinity Theatre on Saturday 29th September from 10:30am. This is an opportunity for local children to be part of a professional theatre production.
Graphics have already been produced for use when advertising the show and these are currently being used as part of online news articles promoting the auditions. As the opening date for the pantomime gets closer, however, residents will start to see these graphics appearing around the town on posters and flyers.
The teams behind pantomimes and plays will often call on the support of a local printing company to help produce promotion material using flyer and poster printing.
Tunbridge Wells girls and boys, who wish to audition for parts in the pantomime, should register their interest on the official website of the Trinity Theatre in advance of the auditions being held at the weekend.
