What's Happening in Tunbridge Wells, England…

Electronica sounds bound for Tunbridge Wells

A well-established venue in Tunbridge Wells will soon welcome a ground-breaking electronic outfit from Britain.

Electronica fans in Tunbridge Wells can catch British music legends, The Orb in concert this summer. June will find the pioneers of ambient house music performing on stage at the Forum. The building based at Tunbridge Wells Common became a famous gig spot in 1993 but has also served as a public bath and a brass rubbing centre over the years.

Companies taking ownership of new premises often look to professional banner printing services to create branded signage showcasing their name and logo.

Founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson, The Orb has earned acclaim for creating genre-defying music that blends ambient, dub, and techno with a psychedelic twist. Their 1991 album called “The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld” proved a seminal release, revolutionising electronic music and received applause from the music press and a loyal following.

The visionary album contained well-known tracks like “Little Fluffy Clouds”, “Spanish Castles in Space”, “Earth (Gaia)” and “Perpetual Dawn” among others.

The Orb will now be at The Forum on Saturday, Jun 7. The show will get started at 7.30 pm and the venue is located at Fonthill, The Common in Tunbridge Wells. Tickets are available to those aged 16 and over or under 16 with adult accompaniment.
