Award-winning comedy arrives in Tunbridge Wells
A renowned Tunbridge Wells venue is set to welcome a British star of the stand-up circuit.
The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells will soon be hosting an evening of comedy by inviting ace comic Russell Kane to perform live on stage. From concert halls and arenas to cafes and clubs, venues of all shapes and sizes presenting stand-up comedy nights often use poster printing services to create promotional materials advertising events.
In 2020, Kane’s show was voted the Guardian’s number one comedy performance and has earned national acclaim for his chart-topping podcasts. Both the Evil Genius on BBC Radio 4 and Man Baggage podcasts have seen him receive awards, and he is also known for his work on TV on ITV and Channel 4.
Along with being a comedian, he is a presenter, writer and actor and has won two of the world’s most prestigious comedy accolades, a Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Award. Describing his onstage performance, The Guardian commented:
