Acclaimed actor coming to Tunbridge Wells
A renowned venue in Tunbridge Wells is set to host an evening with one of Britain’s most beloved thespians this coming Spring.
The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells is inviting fans of the Swazi-English actor Richard E Grant to enjoy a special evening in his company in May. From plays and shows to exclusive Q&As, theatres presenting events such as this often look to respected print shops to produce a wide range of promotional content, from flyers and programmes to posters and signage.
Since his burst onto the screen in the cult classic Withnail and I back in 1987, Grant has risen to become a much-loved actor, starring in everything from to Downton Abbey to Doctor Who along with Game of Thrones, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Can You Ever Forgive Me?
Now, Tunbridge Wells residents can attend one of a series of events where he tells tales from his life, spinning yarns from his extraordinary career in showbiz with reflections on loss and love in honour of his brand-new book called “A Pocketful of Happiness”.
Grant has received numerous nominations for his work and won many awards including, the Independent Spirit Award’s Best Supporting Male.
The ‘Evening with Richard E Grant’ event will take place at the Assembly Hall Theatre, situated on Crescent Road in Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday, May 17. The show will begin at 7.30 pm.
