Farm shop opening within Tunbridge Wells
A new farm outlet will be opening within Tunbridge Wells and this should enhance the reputation of the area for food lovers.
The Chegworth Farm Shop (CFS) is poised to start trading at the same time as a food festival. When shops of this kind open, there can be demand for POS printing from a local print company. The farm behind the shop already has two retail outlets, but they are situated in London, one being located at Borough Market and the other being based within Notting Hill.
The new shop in Tunbridge Wells will showcase a range of organic produce. This will include salad, vegetables and fruit. Much of the fruit and vegetables will have been grown in Kent on a family farm. Bread, cakes, meat and dairy products will also be made available for consumers. Ben Deme, who is from the family behind the farm, told the Kent and Sussex Courier:
One idea is that the enterprise will give customers access to seasonal food, including cherries, strawberries and raspberries.

“We are very excited to be launching Chegworth Farm Shop here on the Pantiles. We have two London shops and are looking forward to opening our first shop in Kent, especially in such a superb location.
"The shop will offer everything you would expect from a farm shop & more and we will be working with some of the best producers in the county & further afield.”
