This event is called Window Wanderland and it is coming to the Swindon district of Eastcott. People living in that part of the town will be encouraged to put decorative displays of lights in their front windows. The aim is to create a ‘magical trail’ from house to house, and the theme of the 2026 event is ‘Hope’. This will be the second year in a row that Eastcott has taken part in the festival.
Eastcott Community Organisation (ECO) is at the heart of organising that participation. Its chair is Steph Newton and she told a reporter from This is Wiltshire that they were hoping to get an even better response than they received last year.
She then added:
“Some of the displays are serious works of art but don’t be intimidated – all skill levels add to the enjoyment of seeing our streets lit up and are much appreciated.”
When it comes to letting people know about upcoming local events, flyer printing by shops in Swindon can be extremely useful. Promotional Flyers can be handed out on the streets.
The first Winter Wanderland took place a decade ago, but it is now a global event.
It will run from 27 February to 2 March.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
