The park is Rushey Platt, which is being given a makeover at a cost of £21,000. Swindon Parish Council is making the designs available to local people as part of a consultation process. The eventual decision about which of the designs to go with will consider the opinions of members of the public.
One of the ideas would see yellow and blue swings, slide, see-saw and roundabout added to the park, as well as other play facilities. Another design centres on multiple types of swing, such as one shaped like a ship, a whirly-pop, a crocodile swing, and a basket seat one. These would all be yellow and red.
The third design would be dark green and would see a slide with pirate ship created at the park. The last idea has a net bridge, spinning bowl, tunnel and climbing wall.

According to the Swindon Advertiser, a parish council spokesperson said:
“The four design options were developed using feedback from residents and have now been finalised. Which do you prefer? Tell us what you like about your chosen design and why.”
