Running throughout February and coinciding with the half-term holidays, the Festival of Tomorrow will involve experts and organisation from the UK and abroad. It will include a schools programme, as well as half-term events for families.
The full programme is yet to be confirmed, but the schools initiative will conclude with two days at Wichelstowe’s Deanery CE Academy from 16th to 17th February.
There will be no shortage of entertainment in the evenings, with attractions including a comedy science night, film evening, and live performances including Last and First Men - a dramatic interpretation of the science fiction film from the late Jóhann Jóhannsson presented by Neon Dance. Festival of Tomorrow director, Rod Hebden said:
“We’re so thankful to all the volunteers, local venues, performers and companies who come together to help us deliver the Festival each year, and we’re really excited to have lots of new people involved this year.”
