Swindon to welcome 'solopreneurs'

The Free Enterprise Network will host its first ‘Solopreneurs: Business Briefing Co-working, Network’ event in Swindon.

This is an opportunity for business people, pioneers and innovators to get together, connect and develop their knowledge base, pool their ideas and to share their experiences in a learning environment. The benefits simply to be derived from mingling with the other attendees are considerable.

It incorporates both morning and afternoon sessions with specialist professionals delivering a series of focused talks. These will encompass a wide range of topics.

In the morning session, there will be discussions on small business funding, apprenticeships, sourcing the necessary expertise and streamlining a business. Whilst in the afternoon, the topics up for discussion include brand value, how to connect and grow, smart advertising online and search engine optimisation.

It ends with a series of intensive workshops entitled ‘Getting the Most from Online Advertising’. Experts will be available to chat with, explain and to clarify the start-up process. Wi-Fi access is free and guaranteed throughout the day. Print shops and printing services can be of great value to those just starting out in business and for those running and attending educational events such as this.

Entry is free and time has been set aside for networking at 10am-10:30am over coffee and 12:30pm-1:30pm over lunch. Advanced booking is advisable.

The event is due to take place between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday 24th July at the Workshed in Swindon.
