The live musical stage show ‘Rhythm of the Dance’ is currently touring and due to arrive in Swindon in mid-July.
It was created in 1998 for a three-week US tour and has been almost constantly on the road performing around the world ever since. Indeed, the various productions have been seen by a total of seven million fans in 50 different countries on four continents

Rhythm of the Dance encompasses much that has developed in terms of style in Irish dancing from 'Sean Nos' or 'old style' to slick modern Forms. It also incorporates lyrical and contemporaneous influences in an exploration of the genre.
The audience is taken on a journey, beginning with the ancient Ireland of legend and myth through to the urban modern society of today. In practice, highlighting the considerable degree of change that the country has undergone in recent decades.
