Kotonic, supported by The Oxymora and Luke Philbrick, will headline a gig on Swindon in mid-January.
A three-piece rock outfit based in Wiltshire, Kotonic has performed several times in the town over the last year. Having established a strong local following the focus now is on gaining name recognition and getting their sound out there. The show coincides with the recent release of an EP called "Dogs".
The Oxymora are a distinctive alt-rock band with a dark vibe and dynamic shifting songs, incorporating broody elements and soaring crescendos. Their lyrics have cerebral integrity and intimacy, but descriptions of the band say they combine this with the sheer volume of rock, offering the “best of both worlds”.
Luke Philbrick and the Solid Gone Skiffle Invasion hail from Gloucestershire and have a large local fan-base. Philbrick’s roots are in rock blended with skiffle music, but also draw on standard blues, folk and jazz influences. The songs are original and performances frequently feature handmade instruments. Philbrick’s first album, titled 'The Kitchen Sessions', is presently available.
Contact the venue for ticket prices or any further information required. Flyer printing is an effective method of advertising a show or event in a local area.
Kotonic, The Oxymora and Luke Philbrick’s gig has a start time of 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 16 at Level III, Swindon.
