Swindon to host Bank of England Breakfast

The Bank of England Breakfast, organised by MHA Monahans, is due to be held in the town in mid-November.

The Quarterly Inflation Report will be delivered by Malindi Myers, who is the Bank of England's South West Deputy Agent. It will provide an economic analysis and discuss inflation projections utilised by the Monetary Policy Committee in order to make decisions about the interest rate.

This event is a good opportunity to discover what recent developments have taken place in global economies and the financial markets, as well as the possibilities for networking over breakfast.

Malindi has been an agent in the south west since April 2018. Prior to joining the Bank of England, she worked for HM Treasury, the Office of National Statistics and the European Commission. Malindi specialised in economic policy appraisal and formulation, including the provision of evidence underpinning that policy. She welcomes the chance to facilitate understanding and to explain developments in the economy.

Tickets cost £15 each and there will be photography at the event for use in promotional material. Those who do not wish to have your picture should inform a member of staff. Attendees can exchange Business Cards when networking.

The Bank of England Breakfast is due to take place between 7:30am and 9am on 14th November at the Doubletree by Hilton in Swindon.
