Oxford Brookes University’s Swindon Campus is due to hold one of its applicant days towards the end of March.
The event will be of interest to those considering a career in nursing or those contemplating a change of direction whereby nursing is a possible option. It consists of a series of talks and activities that are designed to help prepare potential students by giving them an insight into what life is like on the Swindon Campus.
Those choosing to attend will be guided through the morning's schedule. First up is a student tour of the campus, which represents an opportunity to examine the various facilities. There will be talks on student life and welfare as well as on the vital subject of student finance. This is then followed by an in-depth course session.
Attendees are encouraged to participate in hands-on activities in the Nursing Simulation Ward. The primary purpose of the event is to answer any questions and to gain access to all the necessary information in order to make the right decisions.
Entry is free and potential students are allowed to bring two guests. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided. Brochure printing can be used to provide attendees of events such as this with relevant information.
The Oxford Brookes University applicant day is due to take place between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday 21st March at the Joel Joffe Building on Delta Office Park in Swindon.
