This outlet will be called Tulip Authentic Turkish Cafe and the chosen site for it will be right in the heart of Swindon. The cafe will occupy a unit that was previously home to JJs Hair Group on Havelock Street. That will place it adjacent to Momo King, a restaurant that provides Nepalese cuisine, and will bring an empty town centre space back into use.
That unit has been lying vacant since last year, after JJs Hair Group moved to a new location in Crombey Street. The sign for the cafe has already been put in place though. That suggests that Swindon residents will not have to wait too long to sample the Turkish drinks and snacks.
Giveaway themed Promotional Products from local shops are one of the ways that new eateries like this can advertise in the area when they are ready to launch.
Not much information has been released about the cafe, but according to the Swindon Advertiser, residents are very keen. Jenny Smith told the paper that:
“There’s so many chain cafes now that are just all the same so it’ll be good to try something a bit different.”
An actual opening date is still to be revealed.
