Swindon to celebrate white wine next month

Sauvignon Blanc from Around the World, organised by From the Grapevine, will be held in Swindon towards the end of October.

This social and informative gathering should have widespread appeal, attracting people with a keen interest in wine as well as those who would simply like to try a selection of samples and learn more about the subject.

The general public's interest in wine is now greater than ever before, with the shelves in shopping isles dominated by Sauvignon Blanc from both New Zealand and France. This upcoming evening is a chance to taste and test up to four glasses of white wine and discover how climate and landscape can impact on quality, flavour and price. There will also be a supply of cheese nibbles, with all proceeds going to a charity chosen by those attending on the night.

The event itself has been rescheduled from early in May with COVID- 19 restrictions applying. These include a smaller capacity, socially distanced pre-booked groups and a duration of two hours.

Tickets cost £16.76 each and purchasers should contact the organisers should a refund be required. Printing services are usually of great assistance when promoting an event such as this.

This event for local oenophiles (wine lovers) will take place between 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm on Friday, October 23 at Christ Church Community Centre, Swindon.
