The Gloucestershire & Wiltshire Law Incorporated Society (GWILS) is celebrating two centuries in business. Derbyshire’s re-election could mean that she needs more luxury Business Cards from Swindon. She will serve in her position as president for at least one more year. She said:
“It has been an extremely eventful year for GWILS, with the committee working hard to develop and adapt the range of high-value services and benefits offered to our growing membership.”
The next year should also be an interesting time for the organisation. This is because GWILS will host some awards, as step it has never taken before. Derbyshire explained the idea of the initiative is that the talent and the achievements of legal professionals deserve wider recognition.
Derbyshire is a partner involved in litigation for commercial legal firm Thrings, operating from their office in Swindon and has been there for over a decade. Other solicitors from the same law firm participate in GWILS.
GWILS was finding it difficult to generate enough interest prior to the involvement of Derbyshire. However, membership numbers did rise by about a quarter during one phase of her presidency. The creation of a fresh website may have been a factor behind this progress, although a new approach to marketing might also have been productive.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
