Swindon prepares to witness reworked classic songs

The Puppini Sisters, who perform stylised music from the 1930s-1950s, have fixed their latest tour dates and are due to appear in Swindon towards the end of October.

The vocal trio, who deliver a mix of classic tracks and jazzy reworkings of recent pop tunes as well as original material, was formed by Marcella Puppini 18 years ago. They are characterised by the singing of close harmonies and their retro-modern fashion look.

This kaleidoscope of influences and personal arrangements has contributed to the development of a singularly distinctive style. Indeed, Prince Charles, Hugh Laurie and The Manhattan Transfer can be counted amongst their fans.

The trio have released five albums in total, many of them Gold and Platinum discs. They have also worked with Michael Bublé and performed in numerous places all around the world. These include such notable venues as l’Olympia in Paris, The Great Hall of Conservatory in Moscow, B.B. King's in New York and the Glastonbury Festival.

Their most recent and fifth album ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’ is again in the swing dance style with distinctive versions of ‘Sing Sing Sing’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and ‘9 To 5’.

Tickets cost £29.00 inclusive of a booking fee. Promotional Products can be a useful way of publicising a forthcoming musical gig or concert.

The Puppini Sisters show has a starting time of 7:30pm on Friday, October 21 at The Wyvern Theatre, Swindon.
