Swindon goes Italian with wine night

An Italian Wine and Cheese Night, organised by From the Grape Vine, is due to be held in Swindon in mid-September.

This is a chance for individuals to come along and taste a selection of quality Italian white wines, which will be well-complemented with an array of cheese samples. Italy produces such a large range of wines that both expert and enthusiast alike can quite easily dedicate an entire session to exploring what there is to offer,.

Apart from having the opportunity to taste the wines in an informal and amicable atmosphere, attendees can learn more about the various regions, along with the influence of the country's climate and geography on the grapes and overall product. Graphic design is fundamental to the creation of an iconic wine label and a vital part of the branding process.

The price covers a minimum of six wines, as well as several portions of cheese and bread that will contribute significantly to the experience. The purpose of the event is to raise as much money as possible, with proceeds in aid of the Eastcott community.

Tickets cost £10 to £20 and those seeking a refund, if the need arises, should consult with the organiser.

The Italian Wine and Cheese Night will take place between 7pm and 10pm on Saturday 12 September at Eastcott Community Centre, Swindon.
