What's Happening in Swindon, England…

The live tribute band T.Rextasy is presently on its Greatest Hits tour and has fixed a date for a show in Swindon at the end of January.


They have been appearing on stages worldwide now for more than 20 years, indeed it is a career longer than that of T.Rex itself. The group has the official endorsement of Marc Bolan's family, his estate and founder band members, not to mention the approval of his catalogue managers.


Marc, backed by T.Rex, was a pop star noted for his charisma and a leading light of the glam rock scene. They had, with his distinctive mix of rock and boogie, a series of major chart hits in the 1970s. These included tracks such as ‘Love To Boogie’, ‘Ride A White Swan’, ‘Get It On’ and ‘20th Century Boy’.


T.Rextasy, together with their lookalike frontman on lead guitar, Danielz, give an authentic rendition of Bolan’s songs. The group has toured around the world and appeared both at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo and London's Wembley Arena. They have also performed with Slade and Wizzard to name but two.


Ticket prices start at £28.50 and may be subject to a transaction fee. It is worth considering banner printing when it comes to promoting a future concert or musical event.


T.Rextasy show has a starting time of 7.30pm on Friday 27th January at The Wyvern Theatre, Swindon.
