Swindon date fixed for jazz singing comedian

The stand-up comic Charlie Baker is on the road with his show '24 Hour Pasty People' and is due to play Swindon at the beginning of December.

This versatile funny man is also an actor, dancer and radio presenter. He has also become an Edinburgh Fringe Festival regular since debuting there in 2009. A winner of the Mervyn Stutter Spirit of the Fringe Award, it guaranteed him sell-out runs for his four shows.

Charlie is a keen sports enthusiast and features on Talksport's Saturday show 'Game Day Warm Up' and hosts the popular weekday 'Hawksbee and Jacobs'. His television credits include 'Richard Osman's House of Games', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and 'The Last Leg'.

As an actor, Charlie has appeared in 'The IT Crowd', 'Miranda', 'EastEnders', 'Doctor Who' and the movie 'The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas'. In 2022, he played the lead in Harry Hill's 'The Tony Blair Rock Opera' at London's Park Theatre.

The Herald described his style as,
“Comedy with a countryside accent. Imagine Jethro and Jack Black had a son.”

Tickets cost £16. Banner printing can be a useful resource by those engaged in the promotion of a comedy or theatrical event.

Charlie Baker's show has a starting time of 8.00pm on Saturday 2nd December at Swindon Arts Centre. The show is suitable for those aged 14 and over.
