The 'anti-folk' musician, Gaz Brookfield, is on tour and due to play a gig in Swindon towards the end of November.
Acoustic Magazine's 2010 choice of UK singer-songwriter has been touring Britain and Europe, and has shared various stages with Levellers, Nick Harper, New Model Army, and Seth Lakeman, amongst others.
Brookfield’s songs are simple, emotive and easy-to-access tales about life. He plays the guitar in a folky style, sometimes using it as a percussive instrument, and incorporating two-handed fretwork. Now, he has nine studio albums to his credit, of which his latest, 'Morning Walking Club', entered the UK Folk Charts at No. 1.
Brookfield is still the only independent solo musician to sell out Bristol's The Fleece, which has a capacity of 450, and did so a creditable five times. He also managed similar feats at both The Bierkeller and SWX.
Along with his own busy touring schedule, recent years have seen him play more than 100 festivals, notably including Glastonbury and Bearded Theory.
Tickets cost £13.20, inclusive of a commission fee. Printing services can offer a wide range of options for those engaged in promotional activities that relate to a future concert or musical event.
Gaz Brookfield's gig has a starting time of 8.30pm on Saturday 25th November, and can be found at The Hop Inn, Swindon.
