Swindon anticipates food festival

The Cheese & Chilli Festival, presented by 33 Management Ltd, is due to be held in Swindon at the beginning of July.

This is the UK's leading celebration of cheese and chilli and takes place in a family festival setting. It brings together many of the country's top producers and delivers a host of tastes, colours and sensations visitors can sample.

The 70 to 100 or so traders are the centrepiece, with the produce coming directly from farms. There will be fast food in keeping with its themed nature, including publicly judged chilli sauce and chilli eating competitions.

The play zone offers a diverse range of fun activities such as mini football, crazy golf, Punch and Judy, circus skills and a magician. Many are attracted by the music, children enjoy the inflatables and others look forward to the pre-planned demonstrations and talks.

There will also be shopping and craft stalls, with the Man versus Food challenge a particular highlight, and several bars serving a choice of refreshments.

Tickets range in price from £4.78 to £10.60. Under 16s go free and a no refund policy is in operation. Stationery printers can be a valuable asset when engaging in a commercial activity or enterprise.

The festival will take place between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm on Saturday, July 3 and 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 4 at Lydiard Park, Swindon.
