A festival dedicated to rock music will be coming back to Swindon later in the year, and the organiser has secured more space for the 2024 event.
Depravation Festival took place for the first time last year and it proved a hit with local music fans. The festival is put together by Martin Camp and is focused on heavy metal and hard rock. The venue for it was Swindon pub the Rolleston Arms and that will be used again this year, but there will also now be a second venue.
Camp has managed to secure the use of the nightclub called Levels that is situated right next door. Both the pub and club are currently closed, but they will be reopening in time for the festival and that will mean a bigger and better event this year.
Whereas last year’s festival had a single stage at the Rolleston Arms, this year there will be a second stage for live bands to play on at Levels. At events like these, fans often want to bring Banners with the names of their favourite bands on them and will seek out banner printing outlets to help with that.
Camp has stated that his aim is to make Swindon a more attractive place for bands to play. The festival will take place between 30th August and 1st September.
