This outlet, which is home to over 90 of the biggest brands on the UK high street, saw a rise of 16 percent in sales, alongside a like-for-like retail boost of 13 per cent in the period from 6th November to 28th December.
Much of this success is being attributed to the Long Shop section of the outlet, which launched in November of last year.
The regeneration of this building, which holds Grade II listed status, cost £35 million and has seen firms like Paperchase, Clarks, Phase Eight and Jigsaw move into the outlet, alongside several new eateries.
Any new stores launching from the Designer Outlet know that they can always use glossy catalogue printing in Swindon to secure top quality in-store Catalogues showcasing their products.
Phase Eight’s manager, Lyndsey Hollindale, said:
“We were here previously before closing and we’ve had an amazing response since returning.
“The new section of the centre is absolutely beautiful and it is incredibly exciting for us to be a part of it.”
Two days around Christmas (26th and 27th December) alone witnessed sales at the outlet rise by 10 per cent in comparison with the year before, and further success is anticipated when refurbishment work concludes this spring.
