Survivalist Ray Mears is due to arrive with his new 'We are Nature' show in Swindon towards the end of March.
He is an internationally-recognised authority on survival and bushcraft who comes from Southern England close to the North Downs. It was there that he first encountered the countryside with its abundant wildlife and learnt to track.
Since then, Ray has travelled the world acquiring knowledge and developing his skills by visiting some of the most inhospitable environments on earth. In 1983 he established 'Woodlore', the School of Wilderness Bushcraft, where he started to and continues to teach these skills.
In the past 20 years, the survivalist has become a household name thanks to his successful television work. Programmes such as 'World of Survival', 'Tracks', 'The Real Heros of Telemark' and 'Trips Money Can't Buy with Ewan McGregor' are popular.
'We Are Nature' is an informative and educational show. Ray explains and demonstrates the techniques that help to improve our awareness of nature and the problems it faces. People can then act in order to prevent environmental damage and habitat loss.
Ticket prices begin at £22 inclusive of a booking fee. Stationery printers can be a valuable resource when engaged in teaching and other educational activities.
The Ray Mears 'We Are Nature' Show has a starting time of 7.30pm on Sunday 20th March at The Wyvern Theatre, Swindon.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
