There will be no shortage of things to do this summer for families in Swindon, with the news that the various parks in the town will be hosting a range of fun activities.
The three main parks are the Town Gardens, the GWR Park and Queen’s Park, all of which will have summer events on offer this year.
The bandstand at the Town Gardens will be the centre for many of them, with two brass band performances set to kick the season off. Swindon Brass will be playing from the bandstand first, and Cricklade Brass will follow with an afternoon show.
There will be a number of other silver and brass band shows at the park during the months after that, with the season ending in early September. Swindon flyer printing services could be useful in helping to advertise these concerts.
Those shows are not the only musical attractions that local people can enjoy throughout the summer though. A band from South America called Zamba Lando will be coming to Swindon to perform at the GWR Park. That concert will be taking place during the late summer, in August.
Both this venue and Queen’s Park will also feature Emma Doupe, who is described as a soulful singer with eclectic material.
The various concerts take place from 19 May to 8 September.
